How to Clean a Silicone Nectar Collector?

1. Disassemble the Kit: Start by separating all the pieces of your nectar collector kit to thoroughly clean each part individually. Pay special attention to the nail as its cleaning method differs.
2. Prepare Cleaning Solution: Fill containers with isopropyl alcohol and add salt. Stir to mix, and pour some salt through holes and difficult-to-reach areas to help loosen resin.
3. Soak for at Least 30-60 Minutes: Immerse the silicone nectar collector parts in the solution for at least 30-60 minutes, or overnight for best results. This step is crucial for removing stubborn resin buildup.
4. Rinse with Room-Temperature Water: After soaking, rinse the pieces with room-temperature water to assess the cleanliness and remove excess solution. Use Q-tips or pipe cleaners to clean any leftover resin.
5. Tackle Tough Spots: For precise cleaning, use Q-tips and pipe cleaners to remove stubborn particulates and resin from hard-to-reach areas. Be gentle but thorough.
6. Final Rinse and Dry: Rinse the pieces thoroughly with water for at least two minutes to remove all traces of alcohol and particulates. Allow the equipment to dry completely before use to prevent water damage and health risks.
7. Reassemble Your Equipment: Once dry, put your nectar collector back together and enjoy your dabbing sessions.
8. Cleaning the Nail Specifically:
   • Titanium Tips: Use minimal cleaning solutions as they can damage the protective coating. Opt for natural cleaning methods or burning them clean.
   • Ceramic or Quartz Tips: Regular cleaning solutions work well on these materials. Follow the same steps as for the silicone parts.
