How to Clean a Silicone Nectar Collector?

1. Disassemble the Collector: Take apart the silicone nectar collector into its pieces to ensure thorough cleaning.
2. Prepare Cleaning Solution: Mix isopropyl alcohol with salt in a container. Stir to dissolve the salt.
3. Soak the Collector: Submerge the silicone pieces in the cleaning solution for 30-60 minutes, or overnight for best results.
4. Rinse with Water: After soaking, rinse the pieces thoroughly with room-temperature water to remove the cleaning solution and any remaining residue.
5. Scrub with Pipe Cleaners: Use pipe cleaners or Q-tips to remove any stubborn residue or particulate from hard-to-reach areas.
6. Dry the Collector: Allow the silicone pieces to air-dry completely before reassembling.
7. Reassemble and Enjoy: Once dry, put the collector back together and enjoy your dabbing sessions.
8. Cleaning the Nail: Depending on the nail material (titanium, ceramic, or quartz), use appropriate cleaning methods. For titanium, avoid harsh chemicals and opt for natural cleaning or burning off residue. Ceramic and quartz nails can be cleaned with the same solution used for the silicone pieces.
