Description for Herb Grinder
The wooden grain herb grinder is a unique and stylish smoking accessory.
This 4-piece herb grinder features a resin outer with a wood grain effect finish, giving it a natural and aesthetically pleasing look. The strong magnet holding the top ensures stability and easy access to the sharp diamond-shaped teeth for efficient grinding.
The storage compartment below the wooden grinder is convenient for catching freshly ground herbs. The bottom layer, separated by a fine mesh, serves an important purpose by collecting the precious trichomes that fall off your weed. This allows you to keep your kief safe and add a potent kick to any joints or bowls.
How Do You Use A Grinder?
Two-piece and four-piece grinders can be properly used in just a few simple steps.
Step 1. Remove The Lid Of The Grinder
This should give you access to the main chamber, allowing you to insert your buds. Use your fingers to break up the bigger nugs that don’t fit well. Make sure to avoid placing anything in the center of the chamber. This is where the grinder pivots; in the case of metal grinders, there tends to be a magnet to help keep the lid on tightly. Anything placed in the middle will not be ground.
Step 2. Replace The Lid And Grind
After setting your bud in place, put the lid back on. Press it down, shutting it tightly, twisting it a bit if need be. Give the lid about 10 to 15 clockwise rotations, while applying a bit of pressure. Tap the sides and the top of the grinder a couple of times during and after the grinding to make sure everything gets processed.
Step 3. Unscrew The Lid And Enjoy Your Bud
After grinding, carefully unscrew the lid off of your grinder. Be gentle, as ground cannabis can autumn out of your grinder if it is stuck to the top, or if the grinder is being held unevenly. Simply load your ground cannabis up into your joint or pipe and enjoy!
Step 4. Collect Your Kief Crystals
Don’t forget to make use of those precious kief crystals! After grinding a few grams of cannabis, you will probably have enough kief for a full bowl. You can craft a Kief scraper tool out of a torn bit of paper, or preferably, fragile cardboard. Specialised scraping tools are available for purchase, or may even come with your cool grinder.
How To Clean A Grinder?
Step 1: Disassemble the dirty grinder
Begin by taking apart and separating each chamber of your grinder. At this point, you can quickly harvest a little bit of leftover plant material by dumping out and saving as much of the loose leftovers as you can.
Step 2: Soak the grinder in alcohol
Place the grinder into a container of some sort—a Ziploc bag or large glass jar works best. Fill the container with enough isopropyl alcohol to fully submerge all parts of the grinder. Let the grinder soak for 20-30 minutes and agitate the container every once in a while to help break apart plant residue.
Step 3: Scrub the grinder
Pour out the alcohol and use a stiff-bristled brush to scrub your grinder. Don't forget to wash each chamber, scrape along the grinding teeth, and scour the lids.
Step 4: Rinse and dry the grinder
Use clean warm water to rinse your grinder thoroughly. Be sure to wash away all alcohol and any remaining plant material. Dry off your grinder with a clean towel. Once the grinder is completely dry, you're ready to start grinding again.
